@Menetics ya, my mother always wanted open, bubbly, chearful child. I turned out the opposite. She didn't understand why and accused me ...and that there was something wrong with me, comparing to other peoples kids she liked better. That was kinda painful

@Adstar True and I imagine it's worse for boys. Then again there's a such thing as the strong silent type.
