Would you get offended?

I know this is probably a stupid question but I been noticing lately that I kinda get offended when someone says I'm to nice, my coworkers tell me that all the time and I guess I get offended because they maybe think that I cannot stand up for myself which I know I can but they just see that part of me so its kinda annoying.

I fully understand what you feel. I made a whole post about this same thing. People have bought into this Stepping on others to get ahead minimising their consideration for others, I mean you cannot do one without the other you know... Don't change who you are, this year alone has highlighted the perks of being "kind" and the downside of not.
