A user on here says America would fold without Californias economy. What are your thoughts? Does Californias economy prop up the rest of the country?

If California was to instantly vanish from the United States, the US House of Representatives would instantly change to Republican control and the US Senate would change to a 53-45 Republican majority.

Take away the 55 California electoral votes in 2016 and Trump would have defeated Clinton by a landslide.

Democrats in the other 49 states rely on California to keep them in power.

@Heartlander I would not be in favor of immediate. Firm believer in scorched earth policy.
