Half of the exodus of Californians are moving to Texas to enhance the oil, tech, cattle and farming industries we share in common while paying no state taxes, open up a business in a week that takes CA months if not years and can literally see their net income increase 40% overnight. What's not to leave? They've been shooting themselves in both feet for years - let them, we'll manage. Glad I left, what a strange trip that was.

@DudeistPriest Two years ago I thought about building a house in Northern California. The building permit was going to be $80,000. Then sewer, water and electricity. $200,000 before one shovel of dirt could be moved.

@jackson55 That's the downside. They'll wake from their tax and spend addiction stupor soon enough. You can't tax your way out of your problems.
Will the last person to leave CA please turn out the light?
