@Stereoguy I鈥檝e been making it with a packet of instant corn grits and cooking it in half-water/half-milk with salt and a little butter after i get it finished. So far that鈥檚 good for me...warms me up pretty good.
@Stereoguy I could put some ginger slices, a cayenne pepper & a pod of cardamom in it but it tastes good the way I鈥檝e been making it, the little bit of butter really adds a lot of flavor. Damn, I wish I had a Jersey cow, talk about flavor, Jersey milk, cream, butter & cheese is the best flavor of all dairy.
@Stereoguy I made tomato soup last night with little meatballs with minced onion, rice & cinnamon, pinched off pieces of that mix & dropped in the steaming tomato-water and simmered it till the rice was cooked. That was really fragrant and tasty. I might have to make it again next week, it was warming. The boy loved it, had a grilled cheese with his & I put finely shredded mozzarella cheese on mine.
@Stereoguy he loved it. Kept going back for more. It鈥檚 easier to make than the kind that calls for about 5 pounds of fresh tomatoes, that one is really good too.
