Good morning SW 🌞 Is someone cooking breakfast or are we going out?

@TexChik Just how early did you wake up this morning, girl? It’s so cold here I had to turn on the heat for the first time this season!

@cherokeepatti i was up a 4 taking a scent free shower and activating my heat packs . I came down stairs and my hubby had gotten up and made me breakfast. He insisted on driving me out there . It’s about a half mile hike to get around to my blind and avoid being seen . Been in the stand 2 hours

@TexChik I was snuggling my blankie at 4 a.m. till about 6.

@saragoodtimes I’ll toast his contribution while I’m eating the breakfast sausage made from him ! I saw the guy I’m after but I can’t get him to come to a grunt call . This evening I will bring a decoy and my rattling horns . I’ve passed in some nice ones ... I’m after big daddy ! 😉

@saragoodtimes it’s a challenge ! He’s likely a 6 yr old . He didn’t last that long being stupid . He’s on a new piece of property we acquired last year . It’s all grown up and hadn’t been hunted in 30 years according to the previous owner. We planted a food plot in the middle near a small pond . And cut a couple paths to walk in quietly . It’s the thrill of the chase . So far , it’s big daddy 1 me 0 .

He was a lot older than I thought and wasn’t fairing well against the younger bucks , he was limping . 12 yards
