Choosing "policy over personality" doesn't make sense, Trump doesn't have policy, he has rally speeches with no details/planning, and then he signs an executive order with no details/planning, and then the project fails.
What were the huge promises Trump came in with? Building a wall?
A vanity project that allowed Trump to funnel millions to his crony friends, uncompleted and would have done nothing to stop illegal immigration from overstays.

Bring back jobs from China? Trump had opportunities to take down ZTE, Tiktok, Huawei, WeChat and every time his team cuts a deal to keep them alive. Repeal and replace Obamacare? They've repealed it, with no plan to replace it. It was just a fvck you gesture at Obama, Trump doesn't care if poor/middle class go without healthcare.
