Have you ever been accused of something entirely opposite of your moral principles ?

Oh yes.

And that's something I don't tolerate anymore. I used to because I put more into trying to be "understanding" of the why's behind people doing or saying what they do and although I'm not completely opposed to this approach, i've realised that in doing this I was enabling and not asserting boundaries where necessary.

@wackidywack I actually didn't lol. I felt bad for them because of where they were. Even though the accusation was furthest from being true, I knew it had more to do with where their mind was at and the shit they were going through.

But it happened 2 times after it and that's when I should've said something.

I nip it in the bud now. Looking back I would've just put the person in their place because empathy/patience often gets mistaken for permission to continue and fuck that. I value integrity just as much and if someone continues to come for it, they should face the rebuttal🤷🏽‍♀️
