Is it too late to give my son up for adoption if he's almost 2?

I doubt he will have any clear memories of you but getting adopted will be a huge change in his life, he will spend the best half of a year, maybe even more, adjusting to the new life and the emotions attached to the entire process might be something he won't forget.
I know I'm not in a place to suggest anything here for you or your son's life but don't give him up yet unless you have the right family for him. Don't just put him in the system. You might not have much to give him now but you're still a better option than the system. At least, he will be with his loving mother.
