I currently have six conversations on the go via private messages - none sexual (I say goodbye at the first hint that someone is angling for sex).
Three have become good friendships. Three are still in the early stages of exploring whether friendship might develop.
Timewise, I cannot manage more.
There is only so much time in a day. I have a heavy schedule of commitments. I can only manage as much as it takes to answer messages between 4 and 6 am.
I have become a lot more cautious.
The majority of approaches are so obviously about sex that they get no reply and instantly blocked.
I like openness, good ethics, rapport, depth of education, intellect and creativity - the deeper the better. When I encounter these, I am willing to engage.
