Do you have a scar? Whats the story behind it?

I got a bunch. My elbows and knees have scars from falling over a bunch when I was high, my wrist has a burn from a flaming marshmallow when I was ~9, got some (thankfully discrete) scars on my arm where I used to shoot up, I got a couple on my chin - I'm only sure where one came from - I slipped on ice and landed chin first, I have a scar over my tailbone where I had a cyst removed, I have a scar on my butt/thigh from a staph infection, and I got a little circle scar on my thumb that I got from giving myself a friction burn with a pen over and over when I was in jail.

pink ribbon scars that never forget. I tried so hard to cleanse these regrets. my angel wings are bruised and distressed. my belly stings.

I have many scars on my back. During my childhood when I still lived in the Philippines, I worked at a child labor ring for threshing rice. One day, I lost control of a large, heavy bundle of rice that rolled into a river. As punishment, one of the supervisors whipped me repeatedly on my back with a stick. The pain was so immense, I passed out and the lacerations were so bad, I had to be taken to the hospital.

I have many scars that I am not ashamed of and make no attempt to hide over my body. They are the record of my battles and how I've triumphed over adversity in life. The body part with the most scars is my left knee with 71.

On November 8, 2007, I woke up during what was supposed to be a 'routine' arthroscopic surgery. It was hell on Earth, and I had a very difficult time healing from it mentally and physically. Six months later I needed another surgery on the knee to correct what wasn't corrected while I lay awake during the first surgery. I STILL didn't heal correctly. So 10 months after that I had ANOTHER surgery. That one involved opening my whole knee and resetting a surgically broken bone. The first two surgeries resulted in 3 tiny scars apiece, perhaps 1/2 an inch wide? Anywho....that last surgery left me with one 6 inch scar running up the center of my knee cap, and 64 tiny scars from 32 staples.

I have a few. Last one seemed like a minor cut on the mower when I dropped the deck for a repair. Looks like I tried to cut my wrist.
