A few of the requirements for a upcoming Job.. must be a registered voter, possess a valid hunting or fishing license, use only approved vehicles including ATVs, not more than one conviction of any crime and waivers will be available for veteran, inspectors and union reps must have an appointment

I can see reasons for all of those requirements for various jobs. But being a registered voter? That seems a bit weird to me.

Is there a reason for that requirement? (Unless the answer gives away something private about you, of course!)
