Why are there no fitness standards for cops?
No wonder they shoot anything blacker and bigger than them. They wouldnt last a second toe to toe with a healthy and competent fighter.

there certainly is a physical requirement to get into the academy, can!t speak for after though, on a regular department.
Federal however, they have to pass a yearly test.

@RoxClymer I didnt say competitive I said competent. Anyone who has a vague idea of what to do in a fight, and who is not a fat fuck, could beat your average american cop.
A 20 pound belt wouldnt be so bad if they didnt have 40 pounds of gut on top of it.
