Think this a grounds for discrimination

My friend daughter applied for a job at Starbucks. She’s a quiet girl. She went for an interview. She thought she did good job at the interview. She didn’t get any calls from the manager that did the interview. She called the manager. The manager said “we can’t hire you because you have a low voice”
