Pay your bills on time. Get a credit card and only use it for small stuff and make sure you pay it off at the end of every month. Also, having a lot of money helps too.

@Warewolfgal94 pay it off as soon as you can. Then put a consumer statement in your credit report that explains you had hardships. Then continue to make payments on time.

@Warewolfgal94 You have to submit it to your credit bureau. They'll have instructions on the website. But it really won't matter as long as you get it paid off and continue to make regular payments. Your credit score reflects your credit history. It's an ongoing process.

@Warewolfgal94 That's good. But try not to stop using the card altogether. Just use it for small stuff. No credit history can be just as bad as bad credit history.
