Why am I such a pessimist?

I recently did an exam and I didn't think it went the way I wanted it even though I REALLY STUDIED. Now, my family keeps saying they know I passed and I just keep doubting them. I just DON'T want to get my Hopes up only to have them flattened IF I fail.

Ah I hear you. Been burned a couple of times like that XD and when I do actually pass, everyone goes "see, we told you!"

I don't know which exam you did but try to take it easy. You said that you really studied and I believe you gave it your best shot and did everything you could. That's all anyone can do in a given situation. And even if you fail, it's not like your life is over. Take it from someone who has failed countless times :P I am also a pessimist so when I go all crazy after my next exam or interview, you can set it me straight lol
