Dear community. LISTEN UP!

This needs to be said. I just watched a gentlemen get screamed at by another customer, so bad that security was needed when he didn't wear a mask in the store. As I walked to my car I saw the maskless guy again.... In his car about hyperventilating using an inhailed. I personally and many others had a hand held over my mouth to muffle my cry's for help, and tape put on my face, I go into full blown attacks with one on, and I've gotten looks and comments because I'm going and healthy so there is "no reason I can't" .... You DO NOT know what the heck other people have been through or what conditions they have. If you are scared keep your six feet, hell walk further around if need be but do not come after people who aren't wearing one. Thank you for attending my TED talk.

If they have a respiratory condition so severe that they can't wear a piece of cloth in front of their mouth (not even with allergic asthma and rhinitis in pollen season I had a problem wearing a mask.. for hours), the f*ck are they doing in a public place without even at least a face shield or an exemption badge? Amid a pandemic caused by a respiratory virus (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome CoronaVirus, 2), seriously?

These people 99/100 are perfectly fine and just need an excuse to "rebel".

@Elessar not how it works babe. This individual doesn't have asthma or copd lol
Rosiechick13 · 26-30, F
@Elessar also that doesn't take away from my issues if you think having your mouth covered while raped makes you a "little bitch" your the problem
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Rosiechick13 Instead that's precisely how it works, babe, at least if we want to talk scientifically and not politically. Science is not democratic, if you assert something you need to prove it.

Wanna bet you won't link any scientific source stating that simple masks, even surgical grade (notice: masks, NOT respirators - like K95 or better - that are usually what you want to leave to healthcare workers) cannot be wore by any specific sub-population?

@Rosiechick13 The f*ck has rape to do with wearing a mask to reduce the viral shedding of potential unaware spreaders in the general population? 🤷‍♂️
Rosiechick13 · 26-30, F
@Elessar oh idk you try being tied down and having your face covered.....
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Rosiechick13 And again, the f*ck does it have to do about the topic, i.e. the need for the general population to wear masks in indoor public places in order to minimize changes of viral transmission?

You're trying to defend the indefensible, and deflect.
Rosiechick13 · 26-30, F
@Elessar 🤦 no my point is some people can't. The panic attacks that follow things touching my face have literally put me in the hospital
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Rosiechick13 Then you should avoid social situations altogether until new notice. Shop online or check if there are volunteers that can buy groceries for you, exactly like people with other clinical conditions are doing since late February. Avoid all the other non-essential trips.
Rosiechick13 · 26-30, F
@Elessar I do avoid non essential trips but sometimes you just have to
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Rosiechick13
sometimes you just have to
Like?
Rosiechick13 · 26-30, F
@Elessar food, drs appointments, going into the phone carriers office, post office, DMV, physical therapy, counseling sessions.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Rosiechick13
- Food can be bought online and/or delivered, so it's a non problem;
- Phone carriers office for what? Is it essential right now? You can't have a friend, a relative or a volunteer going there for you?
- Same about the post-office.
- DMV is?
- Therapy and counseling if cannot be delayed, can be done in a safe setting (individual session and personnel wearing K95 and eyeshield, like they do in every other healthcare field)
Rosiechick13 · 26-30, F
@Elessar I'm yes when my phone wasn't working I had no option. And no having someone else go isn't always an option for mail. DMV is department of motor vehicles (tag ran out) . Therapy is one on one. PT isn't but is limited to two therapists and 2 patients.
