Dear community. LISTEN UP!

This needs to be said. I just watched a gentlemen get screamed at by another customer, so bad that security was needed when he didn't wear a mask in the store. As I walked to my car I saw the maskless guy again.... In his car about hyperventilating using an inhailed. I personally and many others had a hand held over my mouth to muffle my cry's for help, and tape put on my face, I go into full blown attacks with one on, and I've gotten looks and comments because I'm going and healthy so there is "no reason I can't" .... You DO NOT know what the heck other people have been through or what conditions they have. If you are scared keep your six feet, hell walk further around if need be but do not come after people who aren't wearing one. Thank you for attending my TED talk.

Bullshit. The distance is a minimum of 6 ft. Also, 99% of the time the non mask wearer is making a political statement and/or is a selfish asshole. IMHO even if he has a condition he is a selfish asshole. We all make sacrifices and it's a big middle finger to everyone around you if you won't at least wear the mask.

If you're so delicate you can't wear one you are in the super high risk group and need to do things like:

Wear a face shield instead of a mask because it's better than nothing. At the very least it helps in droplet precautions.

Go shopping during hours designated for people who are vulnerable to the pandemic.

Have groceries delivered either by app or by friend. Or use curbside pick up which is usually free.

It is because of people who do not wear masks or take extra measures to be safe that the pandemic is not getting better. I have to dress like a goddamned beekeeper to do any patient care because of that naked faced dude. When I see someone without a mask I blame them and mourn not becoming an expat before it was too late.

@Doomflower the CDC literally says not to. And the ADA says you can't not allow people with a medical condition. But ok 😂. Your an ignorant ass if you think being unable makes you selfish. And no for me and many others it doesn't have a single fucking thing to do with politics

@Doomflower Exactly, if your breathing is already so messed up that you can't handle a mask then what the hell are you doing exposing yourself to a respiratory disease in the first place?

@EuphoricTurtle you may not have a choice

@Rosiechick13 I suggested several ways people who are unable can be safe and cope.

The ADA says we have to make reasonable accommodations. As I pointed out many stores and pharmacies have designated shopping hours. There are delivery services and curbside pick up. Lots of ways that someone who can't/won't wear a mask can cope.

@Doomflower my confusion with the shopping hrs thing is aren't you still spreading stuff. Also people with masks aren't thinking. Watched someone yesterday move their mask to itch their nose then touch the cart and what they put in it..... I keep 6 feet and use either my shirt or keep a mask on my chin to briefly cover when someone has to get closer than 6 ft.

@Rosiechick13 the idea is that the most vulnerable shoppers get a chance to shop when the store is at its least infectious.

Yeah a lot of people have poor mask discipline. I always carry hand sanitizer for when I thoughtlessly touch my mask or have to adjust it.

I use lotion but my hands are getting cracked and dry. Some days I don't go out at all and only wash my hands before eating and after a poo just to give them a rest
