I absolutely love when people say stay at home moms don't do anything

Tell me how did the entire house stay clean? How did the food get cooked? How are the children alive, well, bathed and clothed? How is the lawn mowed, and the farm cared for? Are people really this stupid

It depends on the age of the kid, I think. Stay at home parents to very young children are definitely doing a TON of work. Especially if there are multiple children in the house under 3. If someone's a stay at home parent to a 6+ year old, then they're probably not doing all that much.

@AnnaKarenina they still are though. The house gets cleaned, the meals get cooked, school lunches are packed, the lawn gets mowed, bills get done, mail gets taken care of, grocery shopping, for us the farm will be cared for......plus if they run a 4-h or girl scout group

@Rosiechick13 Running a farm is a full time job. That’s not the same as being a stay at home parent. You’re managing an estate, which is considered a business.

@Rosiechick13 That's very true. I don't like the words "stay at home" parent because it makes it seem like they're not doing anything.
