Why do 80s kids and teens say we missed out on the 80s?

Some people on YouTube said, “For those of you who didn’t get to experience the 80s, you missed out big time! Best decade for music!”

@AutismGirl18 i was a 2000’s kid but my mom was an 80’s kid and she shown me a lot of stuff she grew up with. It was lame 😂

I just don’t like how “electronic” a lot of the music sounds. I prefer long strung out guitar riffs that are more commonly heard in 60’s music.

Well we like what we like. I think it’s too grunge for me. I hate it!!! I’m sick of 80s kids and teens saying their generation and the music is the best! Someone said it was the last decade for great music! I don’t agree
