Without any intention of upsetting anyone...

What would be the purpose of putting someone in the presumably wrong body for their gender?

Nature doesn't have an intention or greater plan. It's all happy or unhappy coincidences.

@NerdyPotato wow your understanding of reality is extremely flawed. I suppose you believe everything is random as well, good luck with that one 🤪👍
@JovialPlutonian of course we make choices, but our DNA is a random combination of flawed copies of our ancestors' DNA.

@NerdyPotato who taught you that lol nothing is random, not even this conversation.
@JovialPlutonian my biology teacher, Richard Dawkins and Stephen Fry to name a few.

@NerdyPotato you should see what you learn when you are self taught
@JovialPlutonian Then you learn that there is some God that created and guides everything in ways that make no sense?

@NerdyPotato you mean that you can’t comprehend, sounds remarkably similar to the universe, no?!
@JovialPlutonian The universe is hard to comprehend in its entirety, but details make a lot of sense.

@NerdyPotato I just find it hard how someone can honestly believe that the magnificence of all that is could be by chance, just because you don’t understand it.

@NerdyPotato of course and there’s more to life than you need ignore
@JovialPlutonian That is exactly what makes it so magnificent. The chance of the world ending up where it is now with me on it in this body with this mind is statistically 0, but here I am. A reason actually takes away from that beauty.

@NerdyPotato and my point is that your answer is wrong! It was a 100% choice you are here because you choose it yourself.
@JovialPlutonian How does that work? I don't think I had any control over which egg and sperm cell came together or what mistakes were made when copying the DNA from that first combination.

@NerdyPotato you were not in your body prior to incarnation

@NerdyPotato that stuff isn’t relevant
@JovialPlutonian That is very relevant. Without incarnation I wouldn't be here.

Do you ever heed your own words? We don't fully understand the mechnisms which govern the laws of the universe, so it must be God? That's about as fallacious an argument one could make.

PhpPhoenix made a good point; we don't fully understand the biological or neurobiological reasons someone is born a perfectly healthy male, but feels as though they don't belong in that body. However, there isn't a cosmic "purpose" for why this happens. Our DNA isn't making concious decisions to screw with us. Some people just have unfortunate genetics, there's no rhyme or reason to it.
@SW-User That is my point exactly. There is no reason for the way we are born.
