What makes you want to ignore someone?

When they're being annoying

They cannot be trusted.

i tend to ignore people who provoke the release of adrenaline and cortisol from my endocrine system.

They have one of those weird-ass names that begin with "r" and end with "u".

When they are sarcastic and find fault with everybody and everything.

Usually 10 minutes thats about how much of other peoples wierdness i can take.

If they are ignorant or rude

I tend not to ignore people but I do have a low boredom threshold.. so I tire of tiresome people quite quickly.. it's a no brainer really.. interact with idiots or concentrate on more positive interactions..

So perhaps that's the answer.. I ignore people if they are tiresome and boring

Their bullshit

I only ignore people for these reasons 1. They are saying nasty things to me or trying to argue with me and I don’t want to. 2. Because I want to get over my feelings for someone that I know doesn’t like me like that back. Or running from my feelings 3. I don’t know what to say or over thinking or I think I have said something wrong or silly and feel embarrassed. Or just don’t feel comfortable or confident around them 4. Or I think that or sense someone doesn’t really want me to approach them or wouldn’t want to talk to me.

The more they message me, the more I want to ignore them. Also if they constantly involve me in things I don’t want to be involved with

My low self esteem, anxiety, and poor communication skills.

Ignoring is my default strategy
