Is it fair that my best friend make me choose everything?
I hate it. One time When we were planning an outing and they asked me what I wanted to do it where I want to go. I told them whatever they want to go and I don’t care. And then they chose it and they asked me what time and I was like whatever time works.
They have been very annoyed with me and they told me to just pick something. Here’s the conversation:
Guy friend: Where would you like us to go this time?
Me: I’ll do what you want.
Girl Friend: No we picked last time. Where do YOU want want to go this time.
Me: Guys I’m fine where ever we go.
Girl Friend: Just PICK SOMETHING!!!! Us three are planning this outing and YOU need to help us instead of making us do all the work. Where does Layla (me) want to go?
Guy Friend: Yeah frankly it’s getting annoying. If you weren’t so damn passive aggressive all the time, we would know what you’re thinking. It’s okay to have an opinion. We told you that.
Girl Friend: We always get into this problem and we don’t know where we’re going or to confirm it and Layla is making it WORSE because she isn’t saying anything!
I ended up choosing everything.
Girl friend: Where do you wanna eat? YOU pick.
Me: But I don’t-
Guy friend: NO!! You’re picking. You’re going to plan it. Also what time do YOU want us to meet? YOU choose.
I hated picking everything. Too tiring. Why do they always do this to me? I didn’t wanna be mean.
