I Go to Community College

Just started this summer! Grades weren’t high enough to get into a 4 year university. oh well 😅. So Luckily my local Community College accepted me. I wanna focus in Art but still don’t know what I wanna do for work or with it? I’d love to draw for a living 🥰. But idk guess will see how things turn out. So far I’m enjoying my two Art classes. One is sketch drawing the other is water color painting. So far I’m having a blast with them. More people should take art classes I think 😊

A degree in Art will likely never make you a living wage. You will need to at minimum get a degree in education and become a teacher , then your Art background will become useful .

Good luck living on an art degree. Your young I’m sure you will grow up soon. Try finding something more realistic

My daughter became an architect. She is doing quite well. It mixes art with architecture and heavily uses the application of light, sustainable materials, etc. She started at a community college and finished up at a university. You might check into this.

I love to draw too. You can see some of my stuff in my albums. Have you done any self portraits?
Have you tried charcoal or pastels yet?

Illustration and animation could be good, they don't have the "starving artists" idea
