@Zeusdelight yes it’s does! God tells us not to be like the foolish but have oil in our lamps because the master comes at a time we do not know! So put God first just as I said!

@Carazaa But he doesn;t talk about repentance, He talks about living a good life, He doesn;t even talk about having a relationship with Him. So He doesn't talk about putting Him first, like a Loving Father He wants us to do good for each other before Him.

Being ready for Lord Jesus return! Jesus says in another chapter 24 that many will fall asleep and many will follow other false Christs! Most people are falling away from their faith thinking Jesus is not coming back soon! So they will not put Jesus first like the virgins who are patiently waiting and ready with their lamps and doing Gods will every second of every day!

@Carazaa True, that is what the chapter is about, but it doesn't talk about baptism of belief in the spirit when it talks about getting into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus says we must be born again!

Many call themselves Christians but they don’t follow Jesus and they aren’t looking forward to heaven! They love this life. God says those who love their life will lose it and those who hate their life will gain eternal life! Many say they love God but God is dividing the sheep from the goats!

God uses the word virgins because virgins are saving themselves for their groom! Like we are saving ourselves for Jesus coming and heaven by working to please God and keeping oil in our lamps!

@Carazaa That is one interpretation. It is not the only one. How about the two creation stories in Genesis? They are different in writing style and origin. They contradict each other. What would you tell us about them?

@Zeusdelight They do NOT contradict! Most stories have a summary version and a detail version! Jesus had 4 apostles write about him, one chronology, one spiritual, one different than the others, and one repeated all the miracles. Same story different versions! All true! If I tell Jesus story it will sound different than your version!

@Carazaa Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were not apostles. There is a significant debate about whether each Gospel was written by one person or a group of their followers.

Three of the Gospels are similar, but they all have factual contradictions.

Genesis does have two creation stories and they do conflict. It is nonsense to say they do not.

It is also nonsense to threaten people with damnation if they do not follow the interpretation that you have on the Bible. That was not the message of Jesus, except when marketers for Churches became involved.

But Jesus came to visit us because he loves us and he was tortured as he took your and the worlds sins on his own shoulders!

@Carazaa Mark and Luke were not of the 12 Apostles. They came later.

What is sin? Your interpretation of the Bible dams most people in history. It discourages and stops a lot of people tryimg to understand God and the Bible. Why would you want this?

@Carazaa In some parts of the Bible He says that. In others, He says nothing of the sort. You are cherry-picking, for your own purposes. Why?

@Carazaa So two quotes that are different in context each summarises the whole Bible. There is nothing in either about Baptism, being born in the spirit or the other things you seek to frighten people about.
