The flaw with this reasoning is that there is a huge disparity in the amount and quality of choices people have... if you are abducted and trapped in someone's basement, you may still have choices but none of them are going to be good.

yes just because we make choices doesnt mean they turn out good but i guess it would be how we got in that position in the first place..i dont know but humans tend to make decisions that are not always in our best interest but we do them anyways
