How will you honor him?

There’s going to be a quiet ceremony later today where people will kneel for 9 minutes.

I’m planning to go.

It’s merely symbolic and it’s not the same as taking action.

But it’s important that we honor his life. We should honor anyone who leaves this place, whether they go peacefully, or if their life is taken by a miscarriage of justice.

How have you or how will you honor Mr Floyd?

@MarineBob no one is asking this.

Can you honor a fellow human being?
@MarineBob Was Floyd convicted? If just being suspected of a crime makes someone a criminal, that applies to Twitler, you fucking hypocritical piece of shit!

Jumping Jesus, but a lot of Americans would be fine with a police state.

@LeopoldBloom Yes he was a ex con
@LeopoldBloom Read this stupid ass - [c=#008099]Citing court records, The Houston Chronicle reported that Floyd had several brushes with the law, starting with a 1997 drug charge in Houston. His last case was an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon charge in 2007, which resulted in a conviction and a five-year prison sentenc[/c]
@MarmeeMarch Who gives a shit? And Trump was fined for housing discrimination in the 80s. They both paid their dues and moved on with their lives.

The cops are supposed to deal with the public based on what's in front of them, not based on the person's past history. Or in your mind, guilty once, guilty forever, so it's OK to kill them on sight?
@LeopoldBloom 1980s - re-read that stupid - it was the Trump corp. years prior. Anyway I am not saying he was a guilty man forever. Just that there was a pattern - you know prior histories do count in front of a judge when you get in trouble numerous times. He was just afraid of going back to jail that's why he resisted arrest and had to be pried out of his car. - [c=#666666](Now here is the part where you say - he did not deserve to die - go ahead son. Say it. I'm waiting )[/c]
@MarmeeMarch Again, who gives a fuck if he resisted arrest? If you upset a cop, he gets to kill you after he has you handcuffed and on the ground? People that easily upset shouldn't be cops.
@LeopoldBloom I am not saying the cop was right - I hate the cop - but I have to say he did not look upset -he just did the wrong thing and I hope they nail him to a cross upside down.
