@NigelDoes: we once went about 2.5 years without talking - worst time ever. You know I would remember her birthday and adamantly refuse to call/text/email her. Missed her but was too stubborn to admit it.

@NigelDoes: a mutual friend begged me to call her and when I did there were lots of tears.
We actually rebuilt the trust up slowly but I think it made us closer than ever. My kids are really close to her too.
