@JaggedLittlePill Here they're allowed to, with all the safety guidelines and the risk of getting exorbitantly fined or even shut down if you don't comply; but only now when we're registering very low numbers such as +8 cases over 10,000+ tests per day (latest official datum in my region/state, today we're a bit higher with a +22 in the morning, but most of those are swabs taken days ago and being processed only today).
@Elessar Yes, some are being allowed to open with measures in place...others though cannot. It is supposed to be done in phases. But we have so many who just don't think past their noses.
@JovialPlutonian I'd say so, yes, the blue line is the famous daily growth curve (and the red one, the ratio between total positives and total tests performed), both are going down even 3 weeks after the very first attempt for reopening:
@JaggedLittlePill A lot of business owners need to realize that people will choose places where they feel safer, and so the ones that follow the guidelines more attentively. They're starting to understand it luckily, over here.
