Usually, smartest persons don't reveal they are smart. The dumb ones pretend they are smart by saying so. :)

The next time when he says so, just ask him 'what is Intelligence?, Brilliance, Smart, Knowledge, IQ' Does they come by birth or by colleague like you? Do you have been awarded Intelligence or Smart certification ? Blah blah.. :)
