I don't really bother with groups. I think they are kinda dumb to be honest.
The only thing I struggle with on SW is the update feed system, following "friends" system, and the way threads are organized sucks. It's a total crap shoot if your thread gets traction based on timing and looking for threads more than hour old is a chore.
They should ditch the questionbot and do more work to the questions section. It would be better if they made. A few broad categories that had a banner listing them at the top and created a system to bump threads back to the top. So active threads keep going back to the top of the list along with new ones, but let the new threads nobody answers fall to the bottom while an older one that is active is getting binned above it. If a 5 day old thread is still getting 50 replies a day it shouldn't be buried in the questions list going back 5 days while a question nobody has answered in 45 minutes is still towards the top. The active question should get bumped back to the top and start falling back down until it gets hit again.

@Mahdkvp On your profile but that isn't what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about highlighting questions on our profile, that isn't where most people go looking for activity or threads. I mean on the main page, they should have better question organization. Instead of 30 sub categories, narrow it down to 5ish broad categories and more so, have a system where a rice threads get numbed back to the top instead of a purely chronological order. If someone answers a thread, bump it back towards the top.
