My coworker thinks homemade sanitizer is less effective because it hasn't been sealed by a machine..

Does sanitizer become less effective after its been opened a few times? This stuff is alcohol based.

No it doesn't. However if it has alcohol then keep it closed after every time you use it. Otherwise it will loose it's power.
