More often than not this is so. I myself an exception to that rule tho. I hate anything if I'm not in the mood for it. And a younger person has so many motown and decca artists and songs to discover that they could spend their whole life finding new excelent songs and never need to hear ice ice baby again. lol

There are plenty of white people who don't like any rap, including eminem.
A black person not liking rap doesn't automatically mean they like emo music and are emo.

Old, White, hate Eminem, liked Salt 'n' Peppa, but generally don't like rap -- give me the blues or traditional jazz or old r&b like Wilson Picket or Sam and Dave for "black" music. Did enjoy the OUT OF COMPTON movie, though.
