I am just waiting to see the death toll go from 40k to 200k in the next month because of that stupid incompetent idiot in charge these days. I cannot believe we have gone so far down hill and nobody even cares, they still love the guy and will probably vote him in again despite all the harm he as done. Its like putting a fox in to manage all the chickens, and then watch the feathers fly.

Honestly, I have seen people do great work on the frontline even at their own risk... nurses and doctors especially

@yeronlyman Here is an example of humanity, good or bad. Someone posted that there was toilet paper for sale at one of the big chain stores, so this group of ladies runs in there and buys it all, puts it in their Van, and then drives around giving it away for free to people they have on a list. They also dropped some off at old folks homes around the state, and then they bragged about how good they were. Meanwhile, a LOT of other people went to that store to get some, and once again, the hoarders had taken it all.

There's compassion, there's indifference, in the city I live there's still urban violence (gang shootings)....there's also desperation and hunger and worry....and easily enough - we can blame it all on Trump! (that's sarcasm by the way)....I think each individual person has to (frankly) keep their house in order mentally and physically! In the words of Ice Cube: Check yo-self!

IMHO, about 1/3 of the population is behaving stupidly and selfishly (hoarders; people insisting on “opening up” prematurely.)

About 2/3 of the population is ranging in behavior from heroic (healthcare workers), to at least not doing any more damage.

I wonder if the human race has been stupid and bad, versus smart and decent, in a similar proportion at other crisis points in history.

It’s too bad I’m not a professor, in a country where they still take learning and research seriously. 🤔
