Are the flat earthers still lurking around?

The flat earth loonies made quite an incursion over the last couple years. Saw them all over the place on the internet from here to youtube.

Do you think these people are literally that stupid, or is it an effort by the government to further dumb down the population?

It's not like we've gone around the Earth to check.

Or seen the other planets being round ans spherical clearly not orbiting us.

OR that we have actually gone up into space to check that the Earth is indeed not flat.
