@SpicyEnchiladas It was 2010 and I just graduated high school and wasn’t attending university yet, I used to go on twitter to post random hilarious things that my brothers and I would come up as comedy one liners. I think there was a limit to how much I could post back then something like 120 characters or less so we literally became experts at the meme version comedy of Twitter so much so that I became semi-famous on social media for it. We are talking to the point where we even saw comedians such as Daniel Tosh take our tweets and rewrite them in his own way, or it was just a coincidence? Anyway, one day this person without an image connected with me over DM. We soon started DM’ing a lot and played a fun guessing game to find out they were a girl, her name was Katrina Ravene, I was intrigued by the game and fun nature and was interested in this new friendship without thinking it would become what I consider a long distant relationship. Eventually, we were talking every night on the phone I even spoke with her sister and friends, she spoke with my brothers we were cool and kind of official. We ended up connecting on Xbox and Nintendo Wii to game a lot together we had almost everything in common including our home towns where we grew up in Washington and how we both moved to California along with our very deep religious lives and saving our V-cards for the right one and once whomever we ended up marrying. Within about 6 months I found myself in University and working a job with my dad, I was sending her large sums of money trying to get her to buy something where we could connect further over Skype. Every time I would send her a gift or money there was a reason we could never connect. What was so crazy about this is that we would be on the phone and her and her friends would have a crazy story where they are on a trail walking while on the phone with me and they just killed a snake and she would send me photos of her smiling in front of the snake. I heard the ten minutes of them freaking out figuring out how to kill it. I would beg her to connect over Skype and nothing so eventually comes a time where I REALLY want to meet Katrina and my brother happens to live in our hometown at that time where she also moved back to. So I get a flight have my brother pick me up and never tell her I am there. I was trying to talk with her on the phone every day and night to figure out her plans the next day to surprise her, my brother Jonny was cool with it too and was more familiar with our hometown since I wasn’t there since I was little and was trying help me out. Eventually, my brother and I were going to places at the same time where she was supposed to be, she even claimed to be there while on the phone with me and would send me text photos while I heard people on the phone in the background going along with her stories. I didn’t confront her during my stay and I believe I interacted with “Katrina”. In person during my visit but it is SUPER COMPLICATED to explain and I am not certain it was her but here it goes for part 2...

@SpicyEnchiladas So the reason I believe I interacted with this "Katrina" but can't pin a nail in it to who it was... one of the days while still in town she brought up this place called the Otis Grill, she mentioned she was supposed to be going there with some friends and would get a chocolate shake for me jokingly because in our talks she knew how much I loved it there. So I end up receiving a photo of a chocolate shake (without a picture of a person) and knew instantly she was there, so as soon as my brother got home from work we rushed over there probably 30 minutes later than the photo and we go in as casually as we could even with my brother in his scrubs. We sit down and within seconds a blonde girl who works at the Otis Grill in the uniform gets off of her break and there is nothing other than two chocolate shakes in the spot where she was sitting. The only chocolate shakes out of everyone dinning in. (Katrina is Brunette in every photo by the way) The blonde goes to the back and we don't see her again. I wanted so badly to ask this girl if she just had a friend there with her named Katrina. We walk back outside and I immediately attempt a call to Katrina twice, no answer. Get into my brothers car, no answer. I look around in the parking lot for the photos I have seen of her car, not there. I go back to my grandparents house and get a few texts from my cousins asking if I want to hang out now that they found out that I was in town. My brother and I go out with them and somehow it turns into my cousin Kylie wanting me to meet some of her friends, I jump in a car we meet up with about 5-6 girls. This is where it gets weird... A few different cars show up with a few girls and we are sitting in a car in the middle of a 24hour walmart parking lot, it is pretty late and I am bored at this point so spontaneous I decide to go inside of walmart and everyone decides to follow me in. One of the girls in this group is busting up laughing and recording it on her phone. The next thing you know after our walmart adventure we are all inside of a Chevy Tahoe and the girl who recorded the video give me her phone to look at the videos. I am busting up at the first few and then go over to see the next video which ends up being a photo of this girl and two of her friends one of whom I recognize to be I know to be Katrina. I stupidly get way too excited and say hey I know her! and she asks me back with really how do you know "Kelsey!" my heart drops, I am confused as hell and say uhhh, Kelsey? You mean Katrina. She laughs and thinks I am thinking I recognize someone else. This girl then calls "Kelsey" on the phone over speaker phone and invites her out. "Kelsey's" voice is not what I recognize it to be. Kelsey declines, now I am in a horrible mood and ask my cousin to go back to our other cousin Jimmy's house. Somehow everyone in this group decides to come along with us and we end up at the house playing old school games on the nintendo 64, I am still in a confused state of mind. Trying text Katrina without a response and trying to pay attention to clues with other girls and their phones going off. Nothing that I pick up on, I ask questions about Kelsey and how close this group of friends is and they have all been friends for a while, a knock at the door comes and the girl from the Otis Grill shows up. She sees me and acts different than everyone else. Super careful with her questions, etc. everyone else was excitable and asking alot of questions about California, this girl wasn't. I creeped on everyones myspace and they were all connected with Kelsey. My cousin bragged about my twitter account, I didn't even know she knew and said they all followed me. I ended up falling asleep earlier than everyone that night on my cousins floor. I woke up the next morning and texted Katrina letting her know I was back in our hometown and wanted to meet, she didn't reply. I ended up coming back to CA shortly after and still attempted to contact Katrina and never got in reach again. After that my family was trying to cheer me up and made jokes about how she tore my life apart like hurricane Katrina and now they just jokingly cry saying "Katrinaaaaa whyyy!!!". My last tweet was a joke my brother came up with about hurricane katrina and relationships and then I deactivated my account. My conclusion is I met her but I don't know how many of them were in on it.... all I know was at the very least the name wasn't Katrina cause the girl on the phone and apparently in the image her name was Kelsey

@SW-User first of all you’re really good at writing short stories, 2nd - Wtf that was captivating af but I’m sorry she ghosted you, and the friends are fake if they were in on it, I got catfished too But I was with her for two years, lmk if you wanna know the story 🥴
