Whats the point of having a fiance if you dont ask them for help?

My sister can't afford her semester online and I told her none of us have money to help her. We dont have rich parents and they don't have the money either. She said her fiance would help if she needed it but she refuses to ask him. I told her straight up none of us have it to give you are going to have to ask him or dont finish school. She said I was being mean but I'm just keeping it real.
