I think it's different for different people... Some see it as sexually ok to have several different partners, others as being in love with more than one SO ... Depends on who you talk to ...

@ozgirl512 the word is not about just being sexually active among several partners it is about being in a loving intimate relationship with more than one person otherwise they are a swinger. there is a distinction beyond opinion, at least in my opinion ;)
