What does polyamory mean to you?

Doesn't the word have an actual meaning why should it change from person to person? it literally translates to loving many. it is the opposite of monogamy.

oh yeah as understand this word applies to open relationship does not cover cheating...there is no end to what rules people can agree to in any form of relationship. weaponizing attention or jealousy would be a guaranteed fail. otherwise, limits and expectations should be clearly expressed and agreed to, just like any relationship.
