Look at it this way...you are going through this with millions of others. You can’t go back to school now, so that decision is already made for you.

Unless you have money to spare, I don’t think paying $60 a month for training in a job that may not even exist post pandemic is not a good bet right now. You need all your income for food and essentials. What kind of online class starts every week? Sounds a bit suspicious. @MrAboo

Most reputable schools don’t start classes every week. Also, I’m sure vet clinics are only open for emergencies right now. I could be wrong, but I know all dental offices closed, except for emergencies. It’s your money, and your choice. A noble job though, if you like animals. @MrAboo

@Carissimi I love animals. Life without them is not worth living. From what I’ve seen online Penn Foster is a reputable school, and was recommended by one vet tech when I called a vet office, but admittedly all but that one office recommended going to a school. I live in a remote area of my state so doing an online class makes sense, plus I’d be able to work doing an online course. Maybe I’ll wait until it’s announced we can go back to work. I just had a long conversation with my Mom and am realizing just how serious this whole circumstance is.
