Do your parents think of you as a know it all?
I'm 29 and since I've moved out my mum always asks me how I appear to have more money than her.
I don't allow my bills to go into arrears and treat myself every now and then.
Anyways when she's come to mine sometimes I may be cooking or putting shopping away and she'll ask me why I do certain things, when I explain its almost as if I can see in her head going "yea, yea, yeah!"
On a few occasions she has actually asked me how I do something at home like, what cleaning cloth I use, then the moment I explain she has snapped saying
"who do you think you're talking to like that!"
Ordinarily when I talk I'm known for having a high pitched tone but when I explain something I slow my speech and my tone drops slightly. Anyways she says it's patronising. But in the past when I didn't talk to her and others like that, I'd have to keep repeating myself.
On a last note, whenever I want to end a call she will keep on talking, but if she wants the call to end it should end as she says!
