We were bored and decided to watch the UK news. They just said that the lockdown there may last for 6 months. Wow!

6 months is the shortest projection and unrealistic, 2 years is nearer the reality.

@Johnblackthorn I'm assuming that's the fallout rather than the isolation period? Lol

@Quizzical oh dear god no, we'll ne doing the social distancing for close to two years, the fall out will probably lead to a whole new lifestyle because of new habits formed.
now that we've finally taken working from home seriously it might be the death of the ridiculous practice of commuting just to work at a computer terminal.
we'll learn a lot of new habits in two years.

@Johnblackthorn I can't see people standing for social distancing for more than a couple of months tops.

@Quizzical we very quickly accepted sharing all our personal details and our location and photos with Google for pretty much no reason other than they want it, we welcome smart TVs into our homes despite the CIA/MI5 spyware weeping angel.
we'll adapt or get covid19 and a percentage of us will die.

Sometimes our priorities are a bit skewed.
