I lied my ass off to earn my degree. Does that make me an evil person?

This is something that has weighed on my mind for years. Normally I don't speak about myself in such a way but I figured this is something important enough to me that I am bringing it up. In college I had a lot of social anxiety and could not approach anyone to save my life. In projects where I had to interview strangers or reach out to others I did not know I cheated. I lied, I crafted falsehoods, I weaved such an elaborate believable project for my classes based on well thought out lies and I aced every single one.

I knew exactly what to do to avoid suspicion from my professors. I knew exactly how to doctor my results to where they were not too perfect but not terrible wrong either. My professors were highly experienced in their fields yet not once did I land on their radar for suspicion.

All in all, I do feel terrible looking back at what I had done to pass my classes and to earn my degree. It's something that does eat at me from time to time but I graduated a long time ago so it no longer really matters. In the end I won.

The point was for you to understand the material, and well, you did. Quite well obviously. So it doesn't really matter

@SW-User I knew the material very well and knew enough to be able to pull off what I pulled off.
