Are you referring to "Message Requests"? I don't understand those. Sometimes I receive a message request instead of a plain message, and I don't know why. It appears to be random.
@helenS yes I have it set so that anyone who's not my friend who messages me will send it straight to my message requests and it doesnt show an alert. Just the number in my inbox under requests
@Complexconfessions But I haven't set up any filter. I receive messages from persons who never wrote before, and sometimes these arrive as plain messages, sometimes as requests. It's a mystery.
