My childhood and all my relatives. I was only grade four when I knew I had to get out, but couldn't do it until after high school. Now I am probably the only one still alive and I am badly damaged.

That sounds really bad. The controlling narcissistic ones always seem to make you feel like your the bad person. You gotta get out as soon as you can.
