Time to start working out and watching what I eat.

It's the only way I'm going to find a guy I'm actually attracted to again.

And, my ex told me he wants me to be happy regardless of whether it's with him or someone else. So, now I know he wants me to move on. It's not going to happen until I lose about 10lbs, so I gotta do it.

Just remember don't go by a scale as water weight especially in women while having their period can fluctuate. And remember the first weight you lose is water, then muscle and then fat.

Also note for every gram of carbohydrates you consume, that you retain 2.5 grams of water to help metabolize it. And speaking of carbohydrates, fat doesn't make you fat. Sugars do and carbohydrates, simple or dense are sugars.

Eat only within a 10 hour window. Breakfast should be 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat. All meals after that pyramid down your carbs 20%/40%/40% to your last meal with no carbohydrates.

Isolate protein for pre and post workout. At night, casein protein like that found in boiled eggs and cottage cheese.

When you want to snack and don't want to cheat, a rinsed can of tuna with celery sticks works great. And with regard to food make healthy substitutions for things like brown rice for white. You don't have to restrict yourself to death.
