Why can Tylenol make a fever go down?

@XenonRush off the top of my head, not exactly. It has to do with reducing the inflammatory response of the body to bring fever down by a degree or two. Basically attaching to receptors and being like, "hey can we just... not do the fever thing so much?"

If you have a fever of under 102 I would recommend [i]against[/i] treating. It can delay recovery by making it harder for the body to fight infection. Fever is good to a certain point.

Throwing up, headache and really stuffy nose and head congestion and sneezing sometimes

Starting with congestion and headache for a few days and started throwing up with slight fever yesterday. I havent Thrown up since last night though

My stomach feels slightly queasy from throwing up last night and yes, I can Hold down Tylenol and fluids.

@XenonRush then do that. Sip clear fluids until nausea is gone for a couple hours and after that start a bland diet.
