Can I plug one headphone into 2 devices? I know that I can do the opposite.

I want to have my headphones plugged into my laptop and phone at the same time because it's a lot of effort for me to unplug it from my laptop and then plug it in my phone every time I get a call for example (not lazy but it's really a lot of physical effort for me to do it and usually would take at least 2 minutes).
In other words I want all the sound in my phone to be played on my laptop without having to get a Bluetooth headset that can be connected to 2 devices at once because I hate Bluetooth headsets after trying out many nothing beats the 3.5 mm headsets I even have a gaming one so fuk Bluetooth.

Yes, you just need a special switch to do it where you plug in multiple inputs and choose which one is outputting to the headphones.

Found this one on a quick internet switch, so they do make them.

@FaeLuna I couldn't find this in my country's online stores but I found an app called Your Phone Companion and it allows me to answer and call people from my laptop via Bluetooth. I can't play music through it unfortunately but at least a part of the problem is gone.

I found the right splitter configuration, but a few of them say 'not for combining audio from multiple sources' because apparently connecting two outputs like that gets sketchy with the actual electricity.

Does your computer have an audio-in jack? I'm just making stuff up on the fly, but if you could use an aux cable to plug your phone into your computer's audio-in it might... function 😆
@Holdontothefire haha it's not like I haven't tried that! I connected an aux straight into my laptop then into my phone and I felt so stupid afterwards lol because one connection is "in" and the other is also "in" and to get audio there should be an "out"

What I haven't tried is connecting a splitter into laptop then put the earphones in one outlet and put an aux in the other outlet then connect it to the phone but I think it'll also fail because at least someone out there tried it and there's nothing online about it so it must be a fail.

Anyway I found an app called Your Phone Companion and it allows me to answer and call people from my laptop via Bluetooth. I can't play music through it unfortunately but at least a part of the problem is gone.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Look at you troubleshooting and stuff. Yeah, the splitter thing wouldn't work sadly. You'd have to have an audio-in (pink?) jack on your computer, which if you have a laptop is basically impossible lol.

Get skype and have people call you through that.
