At the time when it began to nosedive, I was extremely hurt and disappointed. It wasn’t a long relationship but it had become serious with his struggling health. We didn’t know day to day what to expect. I had exhausted myself to be everything I could for him. I was pushed away over and over and it hurt a lot. But with the ending of that relationship I found my husband. I’ve never been more happy. My ex’s health has improved and even though I couldn’t understand it at the time, it turns out things were going as they needed to. So if you asked me right when things ended it would’ve been 10 but after meeting my husband it’s no longer disappointing.
