Am I the only one with issues with flat sheets?

I can do fitted sheets. (I switch them every other day) idk why but I love clean crisp sheets.
I can do a blanket or two in the winter,
But I can't for the life of my sleep with a flat sheet between me and my blanket.
It's irritating and I get tangled in it and once I almost fell on my face getting out of bed because my leg was tangled in it lol

Am I the only one with this issue?

I can do a flat sheet alone, in the summer without a blanket.
